Thaajuddeen School is a single session government school in Male’ (the capital of Maldives) comprising grades from 1-10 and has student enrollment of about 1300.Thaajuddeen School was opened on 7th February 1989 by His Excellency Maumoon Abdul Gayoom as a primary school. The school is named after Hassan Thaajuddeen who was a great Maldivian Historian. Thaajuddeen School was reconstructed and officially opened on 7th June 2004. The new building is a Grant Aid from the people and the Government of Japan, as a token of friendship and cooperation between Japan and Republic of Maldives. The medium of instruction is English. We at Thaajuddeen School have a strong focus on student leadership, on promoting positive values and developing a sense of global citizenship and we are focused on preparing our students for the real world which is ever changing. We believe in striving for excellence.
